Overview
Hu Xiangwang, male, PhD in Engineering, lecturer at the School of Rail Transportation, Soochow University. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in 2016 and from Tongji University with a doctorate in transportation engineering in March 2023. He was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Tongji University. From 2019 to 2021, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council to study at the University of Queensland, Australia. After graduating with a doctorate, he joined the Department of Transportation Engineering, School of Rail Transportation, Soochow University. He is currently in charge of one National Natural Science Youth Fund, one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Youth Fund, and one National Postdoctoral Research Program Project. He has been involved in key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key R&D Program, the Shanghai Shuguang Program and other national and provincial and ministerial projects. He has published 6 SCI/EI papers in CAS Zone 1 TOP journals such as Transportation Research Part C and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and obtained 2 national authorized patents. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as TRC, IEEE TITS, and IET ITS. His current research directions are autonomous driving and vehicle-road collaboration, traffic simulation modeling and optimization, and traffic flow theory.
