Overview
LIU Liang is a professor at the Business School of Soochow University, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Suzhou Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference.
He has published more than 40 papers in ‘Management World‘,‘Journal of Financial Research ’ ，‘Management World’，‘Financial Market Research’，‘Chinese Review of Financial Studies’，‘Economic Perspectives’ ，‘Issues in Agricultural Economy’，‘ Financial Theory and Practice’，‘Social Sciences Abroad’ ，‘ Southern Finance’ ，‘ Southwestern Finance’ ，‘ Hainan Finance’ ，‘ Journal of Lanzhou University(Social Sciences)’，‘ Economic Modeling’ ，'Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods' and other journals.
He has chaired a total of 9 national and provincial-level projects. He has authored or co-authored books such as Financial Risk and Regulation: International Research Perspectives, Building an Ecosystem for Technology Entrepreneurship and Investment Finance, Science of Financial Regulation, Online Finance, Personal Finance, and Financial English. Participated in the writing of blue books and monographs including China's Financial Regulatory Report, Comprehensive Dictionary of Finance, Global Quantitative Easing: A Decade of Evolution, Coordinated Supervision of Financial Holding Companies, Suzhou Financial Annals, Development Report of Listed Companies in Suzhou, and Suzhou-Venice Twin City Exhibition.
Policy advisory reports have been adopted and endorsed by provincial-level or higher departments in over ten instances. Opinion pieces and articles have been published in various media outlets, including Qunzhong (The Masses), China Social Sciences Today, Think Tank Special Report, Southern Weekly, 21st Century Business Herald, Suzhou Daily, and Suzhou Development and Reform, among others.
Participated in numerous research projects, including major projects of the National Social Science Fund, special projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, projects commissioned by the former China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), the China Development Bank, Industrial Bank Headquarter, the Xinjiang Khorgos Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, among others.
Guided students to win a First-Class National Award in the Challenge Cup Scientific Research Paper Competition and over twenty national-level innovation projects and competitions. Received accolades such as the Jiangsu Development Research Award, the Challenge Cup National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition Outstanding Mentor Award, and was recognized multiple times as an Advanced Individual in Teaching at Soochow University, including receiving teaching awards.
