上海交通大学物理系获物理学学士（2001）和硕士学位（2004），香港中文大学物理系获理学博士学位（2008），香港中文大学物理系（2008）和西班牙Vigo大学物理化学系（2009）博士后，德国慕尼黑大学物理系洪堡学者（2010-2011），中国科学院苏州纳米所研究员（2012-2016）。2016年起在苏州大学任特聘教授。获德国洪堡基金（2010）、中组部青年人才（2012）、江苏省“高层次创新创业人才”（2012）、苏州市“高等院校，科研院所紧缺高层次人才”（2013）、苏州“海外高层次领军人才”（2012）支持。主持基金委面上项目、科技部中外合作项目。在Nature Comm., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Nano Lett.,  Nanoscale,  Nano Today等SCI国际高水平刊物上发表论文80余篇，引用次数总计5000余次。
