Zhiyuan Zhong is a Distinguished Professor and Dean of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPI) and International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation (ICPI) of Soochow University, Executive Director of Suzhou Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation (SIPI), and Associate Editor of Journal of Controlled Release. His research focuses on targeted delivery systems, nanomedicines, and cancer immunotherapy. He has co-authored 360 papers with over 30000 times of citation (H-Index 100). He is a Highly Cited Researcher as from 2018. Some of his work is currently under clinical investigation/translation. He received several awards including the Distinguished Young Scholar Award (NSFC), the Bessel Research Award (Humboldt Foundation), and Biomacromolecules/Macromolecules Young Investigator Award (ACS). He is an Editorial/Advisory Board Member of 8 journals including Mater. Today, Biomacromolecules, Asian J. Pharm. Sci., ACS Biomater. Sci. Eng. He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
