翁桂荣，男，1963，教授，1985年毕业南京理工大学，从事图像处理、生物信息等方面的科学研究，共发表（SCI、EI）论文八十多篇。
2016年来，主要研究的方向为不均匀性图像分割，共发表了三十多篇SCI论文，二十多篇SCI论文为一作或通讯作者，SCI高被引论文二篇。
目前已经在《Knowledge-Based Systems》(一区 ToP)、《Expert Systems With Applications》 (一区 ToP, 三篇)、《Signal Processing》(一区 ToP,二篇)、《Computers and Mathematics with Applications》,《Neurocomputing》,《Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence》,《Applied Mathematical Modelling》上共发表了ToP论文十一篇(一作或通讯作者)。
另有多篇(一作或通讯作者)发表在二区《Digital Signal Processing》、《Signal Processing: Image Communication》上。
