Jin Guo

Jin Guo（金国）, an associate professor at the school of education, Soochow University, received his PhD from Nanjing Normal University (2016). He was a postdoctoral research scholar at Zhejiang University during the 2016-2021.His research focus on the history of higher education in modern China, especially on the history of private university in the Republic of China. He is the author of 《权力让渡与资源获取:变革时代的南开大学、政府与社会,1919-1946》（Power transfer and resource acquisition: Nankai University, government and society in modern China,1919-1946）,Tianjin Renmin press,2021.His publications have appeared in key academic journals such as 《高等教育研究》（Journal of Higher Education）、《北京大学教育评论》（Peking University Education Review）、《复旦教育论坛》（Fudan Education Forum）and 《清华大学教育研究》（Tsinghua Journal of Education）.
