BIO: Prof. Dr. Guifu Zou (Jiangsu Distinguished Professor & National Distinguished Scientist)
Prof. Zou received his PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2006. Following a postdoctoral position at Umea University, he was appointed as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2007. After working in Los Alamos for 4 years, Dr. Zou joined in Soochow University as a “Jiangsu Specially-Appointed Professorship”. Currently, his research focuses on inorganic thin films and emerging materials (including 2D materials, perovskite, superconducting, etc.), and potential application in the field of photovoltaics and photoelectrics. Up to now, he has published more than 170 peer-reviewed papers with over 7000 citations. Dr. Zou has twenty-two patents and two of them have been transferred to industry.
