医学博士，苏州大学病原生物学教授，博士生导师；中国微生物学会理事，江苏省微生物学会理事，江苏省免疫学会理事；教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心通讯评议专家，国家自然科学基金通讯评议专家；主持和主要参与10余项国家级和省部级科研项目，培养研究生30余名；长期承担临床医学5+3《病原生物学》和生物医学各专业《医学微生物学》教学工作；曾获得江苏省高校青蓝工程优秀青年骨干教师培养对象、苏州大学青年教师授课比赛一等奖、苏州大学生命科学英才奖、苏州大学周氏教育科研奖等奖项和荣誉称号。
