BIOGRAPHY
Ning Chen (male, born in 1995) is currently a Lecturer and Master's Supervisor at School of Computer Science and Technology in Soochow University. After earning his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing University in June 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Sanglu Lu and Assoc. Prof. Sheng Zhang, he joined Soochow University in July 2024, and worked in the team leaded by Prof. He Huang. His research focuses on Edge Intelligence, specifically developing efficient deployment strategies for AI applications (e.g., video analytics/enhancement) through computational offloading, resource scheduling, distributed model training/inference, and cloud-edge-device collaboration mechanisms. With over 20 publications in top-tier venues including IEEE INFOCOM, ICDE, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (TON), IEEE TPDS, and Computer Networks, he actively contributes to academic peer-review processes as a reviewer for IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), and IEEE MASS conferences.
