Prof. Jin Wang is currently a professor and the Deputy Dean (Executive) of the School of Future Science and Engineering at Soochow University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Science & Technology of China (USTC) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU) under the collaboration scheme of USTC and CityU supervised by Prof. Naijie Gu and Prof. Jianping Wang, at Suzhou Institute for Advanced Study. Prior to joining Soochow University, he worked at City University of Hong Kong as research assistant, research associate and research fellow. Prof. Wang's research interests include Collaboration and Interaction of Unmanned Intelligent Systems (Unmanned Vehicles, Unmanned Surface Vessels, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), Resource Scheduling in Computing Power Network and AI+Robotics. He has been actively publishing more than eighty papers in the high quality international journals (e.g., IEEE TPDS, IEEE TCC, IEEE TVT, IEEE TMM, IEEE TNSE, IEEE CL, etc.) and conferences (e.g., ICCV, INFOCOM, ICDCS, IWQoS, ICRA.IROS etc.). His research has been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is currently a reviewer of leading journals and also serving as a Technical program committee (TPC) Member of many high quality international conferences.
王进，男，1985年生，博士，教授，博士生导师，江苏省“六大人才高峰”高层次人才，江苏省333高层次人才，苏州大学“仲英青年学者”，未来科学与工程学院常务副院长，香港城市大学深圳研究院研究员（兼职），苏州市大数据智能社会治理创新应用实验室主任，苏州市社会治理大数据应用创新联合体首席科学家。中国计算机学会(CCF)高级会员，中国电子学会高级会员。 CCF网络与数据通信专委会执委、互联网专委会执委、普适计算专委会执委，中国电子学会信息论分会委员，江苏省计算机学会网络与分布式计算专委副主任、江苏省计算机学会嵌入式系统与物联网专委会常委，CCF苏州分部副主席，苏州市计算机学会常务理事。已发表/录用国际学术期刊和会议论文80余篇，其中主要研究成果发表在IEEE TPDS, IEEE TCC, IEEE TVT, IEEE TMM, IEEE TNSE, JLT等国际知名期刊，以及ICCV, INFOCOM, ICDCS, IWQoS, ICRA, IROS等重要国际学术会议上，获Best Paper Award 5项。2023年作为程序主席承办中国大数据技术大会，2024年作为程序委员会主席承办中国网络大会。获第四届安徽省优秀博士论文奖(全省计算机学科1)，江苏省计算机学会青年科技奖，苏州市自然科学优秀学术论文奖2次，2011年度香港城市大学杰出博士论文奖(全校2)等科研奖项。已申请发明专利30余项。现/曾主持国家自然科学基金、中国博士后特别资助、江苏省国际合作项目、省高校自然科学基金重大项目等科研项目以及与知名企业联合开展的校企合作项目共计20余项。目前主要从事：无人智能系统（无人驾驶、无人船、无人机）协同与交互、算力网络资源调度、AI+机器人等方向的研究。目前，与法学院、苏州大学附二院、艺术学院、新闻传播学院开展了多项学科交叉研究。与纽约州立大学(Chunming Qiao, IEEE Fellow)，香港城市大学(Jianping Wang, IEEE Fellow)，英国埃克塞特大学(Geyong Min, Professor)，复旦大学(王新，教授)等科研机构以及百度、小米、移动、联通等知名企业的专家保持着长期的科研合作关系。
