陆薇薇,医学博士,苏州大学基础医学院生理学与神经生物学系副教授、硕士生导师、系副主任;2005-2010年就读中国医科大学获医学学士学位,2010-2015年就读北京大学医学部获医学博士学位,2017年6月至2019年6月在美国肯塔基大学进行博士后研究;2015年8月至2020年8月任徐州医科大学基础医学院生理学系讲师,2020年9月至今任现职。
主要从事疼痛(特别是神经病理性疼痛)发病的神经免疫调控机制及代谢性心脑血管疾病的研究;主持国家自然科学基金面上项目(在研)、青年项目(结题)、苏州市医疗卫生科技创新项目(在研)、老年病与免疫教育部重点实验室协作与开放课题(在研)各1项;在Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology , JCI Insight, Cell Death & Disease等国际期刊及国内核心期刊发表学术论文30篇(其中SCI论文26篇,核心期刊4篇),以第一或通讯作者发表12篇。承担《生理学》、《神经生物学》、《解剖生理学》及留学生《Neurobiology》、《Medical Physiology》等课程的理论与实验教学;主持(含共同主持)苏州大学高等教育教改课题、研究生教学成果培育项目各1项,参与教育部虚拟仿真项目1项,发表教学论文2篇;获江苏省高校“青蓝工程”优秀教学团队(核心成员,4/5)、苏州大学研究生教学成果奖一等奖(2/5)、苏州大学课程思政课堂教学一等奖、苏州大学陈金荣青年英才奖、民盟组织建设先进个人等多项荣誉与奖励,并指导江苏省大学生创新创业训练计划项目等多项学生科研项目立项或获奖。

目前主要探讨糖尿病神经病理性疼痛和偏头痛中的免疫炎症调控机制及防治研究。
从事心血管活性多肽生物学效应和心血管疾病的发病机制和防治研究,主要开展了关于心血管活性多肽—肾上腺髓质素2(intermedin)在心肌肥厚和腹主动脉瘤发病中的作用及机制的相关研究,并探讨了IKKβ在心肌重塑,动脉粥样硬化,肥胖及动脉夹层等中对炎症、细胞生长/存活及细胞分化的调控作用。
